Synopsis

Nelly Blue began to take shape during the filming of the well-known television series Jet Lag, in which the duo of actors (Xavi Mira and Albert Ribalta) and the director of the show (Marta Pérez) coincided.

Nelly Blue is a comedy, a small musical. The bittersweet story of a friendship born amidst the world of nightclubs and singing contests at outdoor venues. The story of two lonely men who share a dream. The story of two tragicomic characters who find music offers an escape from reality and a way to take flight. They decide to try to make it big,   to achieve the type of success they see on TV or hear on the radio.

The 1970s: Passport to Dublin, the TV show, was on; Amparo Muñoz was Miss Spain; singers released songs on singles; Kung Fu, graphic novels about Corín Tellado, Nino Bravo, Karina, Camilo Sesto, Jaime Morey…

Neither character will make it because, despite their talent, “life” means they are never in the right place at the right time.

Together, they believe they can achieve what they want: success. But what is success really?

A comedy, a small musical, the bittersweet story of two tragicomic characters who find a way to escape from reality. A show by T de Teatre and Los Tigres that pays tribute to the melodic song in general and Nino Bravo in particular.
